CPT wins important tender

The Center for Preclinical testing (CPT) won the tender of a foreign sponsor to perform a comprehensive toxicity study in the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regime. The study includes 90-day repeated administration of 2 experimental substances with toxicokinetic analysis. Part of the experiment is the evaluation of clinical manifestations of toxicity in experimental animals, assessment of hematology, clinical chemistry and urine parameters, analysis of thyroid hormones and histopathological assessment of tissues. The study also includes the development and validation of the necessary analytical methods in plasma and application form. The victory in this tender shows that the preclinical testing program within the institutes of the Academy of Sciences is fully competitive and can also provide comprehensive preclinical studies in the GLP regime.
